College notes

ANNABELLE TURNER (Butler), a freshman swimmer at Westminster, placed second in the 200-meter butterfly against Penn State Behrend. Her time was 2 minutes, 29.77 seconds.

EMILY IVORY (Mars), a junior on Grove City’s women’s tennis team, teamed with Janel McCray to win at No. 2 doubles in the Wolverines’ 5-2 Presidents’ Athletic Conference championship victory over Allegheny. They won the match 8-5.

SCOTT FRASER (Knoch) caught eight passes for 75 yards and two touchdowns in Grove City’s 49-0 football win over Saint Vincent.

KEAGAN FRASER (Knoch), a sophomore safety, had a quarterback sack in the Grove City win.

COURTNEY LISMAN (Mars) made five saves in recording her 32nd career win as Grove City’s women’s soccer team shut out Saint Vincent, 1-0. Lisman is within two wins of tying the Wolverines’ career wins record.

CONNOR SCHMIDT (Seneca Valley) scored three goals for Westminster’s men’s soccer team in a 3-2 win over Thiel. Schmidt has five goals on the season and registered his first career hat trick.

LAUREN LAMPUS (Freeport) tallied six kills and nine digs as Westminster’s women’s volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Bethany,

MIA ZEC (Seneca Valley) scored a goal in Penn State Behrend’s 7-0 women’s soccer win over Carlow.
