June L. Sauers, 85, of Mars died Saturday evening at her home.

Born in Duquesne, Nov. 29, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Bessie Williams Gensimore.

A homemaker, Mrs. Sauers also worked in the laundry and as a seamstress for the LAS/St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars for more than 20 years.

She was a former member of the St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars.

Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Sauers in Florida; three sons, Robert J. Sauers Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Gibsonia, Joseph G. Sauers and his wife, Janine, of Mars, and William “Bill” Sauers and his wife, Donna, of Cranberry Township; a sister, Betty Wargo in Florida; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Sauers Sr., who she married May 30, 1944, and who died May 20, 2001; a son, Christopher Paul Sauers; and her sisters, Margaret Fiel and Jane Parsons.

<B>SAUERS </B>— Friends of June L. Sauers, who died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, will be received at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in the St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, Clark Street, Mars, at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the St. Gregory Cemetery, Zelienople.Memorials may be made to the Blind Association of Butler, 322 N.
