Janyce Kaltenhauser
Janyce Grenet Kaltenhauser, 83, of Saxonburg died peacefully Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
Born March 16, 1932, in Butler Memorial Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Henry Grenet and Marion (Jamison) Grenet.
Jan was a 1950 graduate of Butler High School and had a degree as a dental hygienist from Temple University.
She was a devoted mother, a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saxonburg, a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants and a member of the local John Roebling Chapter of Questors.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Robert Kaltenhauser; three children, Eric (Melody) Kaltenhauser of Butler, Heidi (fiancee Rich Mooney) Kaltenhauser of Louisville, Ky., and Gretchen (Michael) Kurzawa of Oakmont; six grandchildren, Karl, Dietrich and Heidi Kaltenhauser, Anya Kaltenhauser, and Nathaniel and Natalie Kurzawa; her identical twin, Joyce Hall of Butler; and her sister, Patricia Hill of Cabot.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Gorde; and one sister, Zandra Lokhaiser.
KALTENHAUSER — Friends and family of Janyce Grenet Kaltenhauser, who died Friday, March 27, 2015, are invited to a memorial service at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, with the Rev. Roger G. Keller officiating. A luncheon will follow the service in the church hall.There will be no viewing.
