Nancy Jane McMillen Stewart-Olesnevich

Nancy Jane McMillen Stewart-Olesnevich, 81, of Kittanning died Tuesday at home.

She was born Nov. 20, 1934, in Craigsville, to the late Daniel A. and Charlotte M. Barr McMillen. She was a lifelong resident of the area.

Nancy was a retired nurse from ACMH and established the Melody Manor Personal Care Home in Kittanning. She was an owner operator there from 1981 to 2002.

Nancy was Presbyterian. She enjoyed traveling, casinos and baking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed bird watching and watching wildlife in her backyard.

Survivors include her husband, Paul E. Olesnevich of Kittanning; her son, Donald A. (Kathy) Stewart of Fenelton; her daughter, Shaunee L. (Rick) Horstman of Fenelton; her son, Daniel P. (Cathy) Stewart of West Virginia; her stepsons, Chris (Ann) Olesnevich of Florida, Curt Olesnevich of Oklahoma and Bryan (Regina) Olesnevich of Tarentum; her stepdaughter, Barbara Olesnevich of Florida; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Daniel McMillen; her sister, Beverly McMillen; her daughter, Vickie Stewart-Michaud; her great-granddaughter, Ashley N. Deal; and her first husband, Donald P. Stewart.

STEWART-OLESNEVICH — Services for Nancy Jane McMillen Stewart-Olesnevich, who died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, will be private and are entrusted to the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington.Interment will be at the Worthington Lutheran Cemetery.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Three Rivers Hospice, 1195 Jacks Run Road, North Versailles, PA 15137.
