Franklin Dittman and Ruth Geller of Mars combined for a 1,672 handicapped score to win the Butler County Bowling Association’s mixed doubles tournament recently at Mystic Lanes.

Jeff Culpepper and Doreen George of Evans City finished second, 47 pins behind. Thomas and Brandy Reep of Butler were third.

Team WPCM claimed the team event with a 3,147 handicapped score. CB & Goerl were second, four pins behind, while Bagley & Enrietto were third.

Mel Bagley of Butler won the no bowls singles handicapped portion of the tournament with an 867. Michele Lantz had an 853 for second place with Diane Young placing third.

There were 26 doubles, 12 teams and 39 no-bowl singles participating in the tournament.
