Armco hires fraud officer
Armco Credit Union has hired Danielle Crissey for the newly created position of fraud officer.
Crissey will oversee fraud prevention operations, which includes educating Armco staff and members on common consumer marketplace scams.
“I’m excited to join a great group of individuals at Armco (Credit Union),” Crissey said. “It is evident that the staff and management is dedicated to improving the financial lives of all members. I look forward to continued growth and safeguarding our members from fraud.”
Crissey worked as vice president and fraud and security officer for First Commonwealth Bank for the past seven years. Before that, she held various banking positions from teller to fraud security analyst.
She received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Seton Hill University and has a fraud prevention certificate from the American Bankers Association.
She also received the “First Mate” award in the legal/security and fraud department at First Commonwealth Bank.
