Patterson

Marcella Z. Patterson, 96, of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, formerly of Penn Township, died Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia.

Born April 19, 1914, in West Monterey, she was the daughter of the late John Overheim and the late Ora Buzard Overheim.

Mrs. Patterson was a homemaker and a member of the North Street Christian Church, Butler. She also was a former member of the Penn Township Woman's Club.

Mrs. Patterson is survived by one son, Donald M. and his wife, Mary Ann Patterson of Butler; one daughter, Ruth Ann and her husband, Richard Horam of Cut And Shoot, Texas; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Patterson, who passed away June 21, 1997; one grandson; two sisters; and one brother.

<B>PATTERSON</B> — Friends of Marcella Z. Patterson, who died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Huber of the North Street Christian Church officiating.
