Those who need help at Christmastime can sign up to receive support from Salvation Army programs on six upcoming dates.

Families can sign up for programs that assist children age 12 and younger and senior citizens age 60 and older from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 17, 19, 24 and 26, as well as from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 8 and 9, at the Salvation Army at 313 W. Cunningham St., Butler.

Those who sign up must have proof of address, income and children’s ages along with photo identification.
