Marian L. Slaughenhoupt
Marian L. Slaughenhoupt, 85, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., passed away July 21.
She was born in Petrolia, on Feb. 1, 1928.
Mrs. Slaughenhoupt was a registered nurse, an alumni of Slippery Rock University, graduating with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She pursued a career in various health fields.
Throughout her life she lived in the Butler area as well as Florida.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Denise) Rath of Butler, Rebecca Collier of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Mrs. Michael (Nancy) St. Clair of Cranberry Township, and a son, Evan K. (Jeanne) Slaughenhoupt Jr. of Dunkirk, Md. Also surviving are three sisters, Mae Boltz of Chicora, Phyllis Malarkey of Connecticut and Joan Slaughenhoupt of Florida; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan.
