William E. Snyder

William E. Snyder, 80, of Valencia, passed away Wednesday.

He was the beloved husband for 58 years of Dorothy (Edgar) Snyder; loving father of Tracy (Carl) Brandstadter, William Snyder and Charles Snyder; brother of Edward (Katherine) and Charles (Barbara) Snyder; cherished grandfather of Harley, Amber, Ashley and Brody; and great-grandfather of Riley and Madelyn.

He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a self-employed truck driver for more than 40 years, an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing, a deputy with the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission, and loved living in Palmetto, Fla., where he could be found out in his boat.

SNYDER — Friends of William Snyder, who died Wednesday, May 17, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Services will follow at 8 p.m. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
