Joan Parsons

M. Joan Parsons, 86, of Mars, formerly of Gibsonia, passed away Saturday.

Joan worked in the cafeteria with the Pine-Richland School District for many years, was a 40-year volunteer in the recreation department at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, enjoyed knitting, crochet, needlepoint, arts and crafts and put faith and family above all else.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Parsons; loving mother of David (Kathy) Parsons, Joyce (Thomas) Mastrilli, Dale (Robin) Parsons and Jill (Jon) Snyder; sister of Donna Fox Nesbitt, Wilma Cyrus and Marilyn Walker; dear grandmother of Alex (Cara) Mastrilli, Brian Parsons, Rebekah Parsons, Aaron Mastrilli, Kalie Snyder, Elizabeth Parsons, Molly Parsons, Jacob Snyder, Abigail Parsons and Kyle Snyder.

PARSONS — Friends of M.
