Korie J. Thompson, 43, of Butler passed away Thursday in the emergency room of Butler Memorial Hospital of natural causes with her fiancé at her side.

She was born March 7, 1973, in Butler to the late Donald and Jean Nesbitt Thompson.

She was a homemaker and is survived by her fiancé, Rodney Kriess; her daughters, Kelsee Thompson and Kylee Kriess; her granddaughter, Amara Thompson; her grandson, Karsyn Biedenbach-Thompson; her sister, Tricia Thompson; her nieces, Macee and Brady Dalton; and her nephew, Quinton Dalton.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by infant twins, Rhiannon and Logan Kriess.

THOMPSON — Friends of Korie J. Thompson, who died Thursday, July 7, 2016, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, at the corner of 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora.A blessing service will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Rick Thompson, pastor of the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Chicora, officiating. Cremation will follow.
