John S. Jerich Jr.

John S. Jerich Jr., 75, of Butler passed away Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born April 13, 1942, in New Kensington, he was the son of the late John Jerich Sr. and Mary Jerich.

John was the owner and operator of John S. Jerich Trucking. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Cabot, the Saxonburg Fire Co., the Saxonburg VFW 7376, the Butler American Legion, and the RC Men's Club in Herman. John enjoyed going camping, boating and socializing.

Surviving are his sons, Bill (Sandra) Jerich of Saxonburg and Bob Jerich of Saxonburg; his grandson, John William Jerich; his granddaughter, Kristin Jerich; and his special friend, Sylvia Plutyk of Sarver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Blose Jerich; and his brother, Lawrence Jerich.

JERICH — Friends of John S. Jerich Jr., 75, of Butler who died Saturday, April 15, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A blessing service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ward Stakem officiating. Interment will follow at Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.A luncheon will follow the graveside service at the Saxonburg VFW, 572 W.
