BROOKE GRIFFITH (Karns City), also a member of Thiel’s women’s cross country team, finished 62nd in 30:14.8 at the Tomcat Rumble.

SCOTT FRASER (Knoch) had eight catches for 99 yards and two touchdowns for Grove City in the Wolverines’ 31-24 football win over previously unbeaten Washington & Jefferson.

RICKY HUNTER (Freeport) booted a 27-yard field goal and three PATs in Washington & Jefferson’s loss to Grove City.

ALAYNA CHIZMAR (Mars) had four blocks for Slippery Rock’s women’s volleyball team in its 3-2 loss to Edinboro.

CJ SINGLETON (Butler), a cross country runner for Notre Dame, placed 13th overall in 23:45 at the Joe Piane Invitational in South Bend, Ind. Notre Dame won the team event.

ZACH LEACHMAN (Mars), a cross country runner for Florida State, finished 61st at the Joe Piane Invitational in 24:32. Florida State finished second in the team standings.

LUKE SIMPSON (Seneca Valley), a cross country runner for Pitt, placed 111th with a time of 25:21 at the Joe Piane Invitational.
