William L. Zettle, 80, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born Aug. 9, 1929, in New Bethlehem, he was the son of Anna Gilg.

He worked as a crusher operator for Armstrong Cement, retiring in 1995 after 50 years.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley Christy Zettle, who he married April 1, 1950; two daughters, Vicky Kerns of Parker, Colo., and Cheryl (Tom) Cirrincione of McGran; his sister, Helen Bellotti of Herman; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
