A light went out on earth for us,

The day we had to say goodbye

But on that day a star was born,

It was the brightest in the sky.

It reaches through the darkness

With it’s rays of purest white

Lighting up the Heavens

As it once lit up our lives.

With beams of love to heal

The broken hearts you left behind,

Where always in our memory

Your loving star will always shine.

We miss and love you just as much as

We did the day you left us eight years ago.
