SLIPPERY ROCK — Meghan Collins and Christopher Martin were the respective winners of the recent Villagefest 5K, which was staged by the Slippery Rock Area Parks &Recreation Department.

Collins ran the event in 21 minutes, 8 seconds to win the female portion of the race, beating out Christina Broderick (21:55) and Katrina Rinehimer (22:38).

Martin won the male portion of the race in 17:14, beating out Jeff Lynn (18:16) and David Dunmyre (18:20).
