Scott Powell

GROVE CITY — Scott Powell was honored as 2017 Omicron Delta Kappa Professor of the Year at Grove City College.

He joined the faculty in 2005 and is a professor of marketing. During the previous 14 years, he was assistant dean of the college and assistant to the president of the college.

He teaches courses in marketing, retail management, consumer behavior and advertising. He also is an adviser, consultant and evaluator for a variety of campus activities.

Powell presents his research nationwide. His areas of expertise include emotional intelligence, individualism, motivational considerations and product downsizing.

He is a graduate of Butler High School, Anderson University in Anderson, Ind., and the University of Pittsburgh.
