Fisher 50th anniversary
Robert and Nancy Fisher of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage this month with a family dinner.
The former Nancy Pizor married Fisher on Aug. 11, 1956, at Hill United Presbyterian Church in Butler.
They have four children: Robert Fisher Jr. of Butler, Thomas Fisher of Butler, Jeffrey Fisher of Pittsburgh and Kimberly Hunka of Butler.
They also have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Fisher retired in 2000 after 42 years at Fisher's Service and Towing, of which he is a former owner. He belongs to the Rotary club, Victory Lodge, New Castle Consistory, Syria Shrine and the Butler Country Club. He plays golf and bridge and enjoys volunteer work.

She belongs to Beta Sigma Phi, Butler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Butler Country Club and the Town and Country Garden Club. She also plays golf and bridge.The Fishers belong to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
