Anna M. Hunka
Anna M. Hunka, 91, formerly of Cleveland Street, died Friday, at San Gabriel Valley Medical Center in San Gabriel, Calif.
Born Nov. 2, 1915, in Butler, she was a daughter of Walter and Dorothy Podlak Kudzinski.
Mrs.Hunka was a homemaker and was a domestic home worker for years in the Butler area.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndora.
She is survived by a son, Robert M. Hunka of Butler; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Dorothy A.) Smith of California and Mrs. Felix (Paula M.) Taijeron, with whom she had lived for the past six years, also of California; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Victoria Weidenhof of Renfrew; and a number of nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen A. Hunka Sr.; a son, Stephen A. Hunka Jr., and several brothers and sisters.
<B>Hunka</B> — Friends of Anna M. Hunka, who died Oct. 5, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home,</B> 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church, 610 Hansen Ave., Lyndora. The Rev. Douglas Lorance will officiate.
