DINNER IS SERVED
Butler fireman Don Crawford serves ham to fifth-grader Joshua Kinney at Butler Middle School Dec. 15 during holiday carving meal including ham carved at each of four serving stations. Guest carvers were on hand including Butler City Chief of Police Ron Brown, other policemen, several firefighters and incumbent Mayor Ben Smith. The middle school hosts one holiday carving annually at one of the three major holidays. Last year a carving was held for Easter at the middle school. Carvings are also held at other district locations during the year as well.
