Lisa M. Cygan, 40, of Butler passed away Monday at the VNA Hospice in Butler.

She was born on April 4, 1973, in Butler. She was the daughter of Nicholas and Evelyn Lehnerd Cygan.

She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Church in Lyndora. She worked in the mail department for PARC.

Lisa enjoyed reading, word searches, puzzles and watching movies.

Surviving are her parents; her sister, Lynn A. Cygan of Butler; her nephew, Jeff Peters of Butler; her niece, Nicole Schmeider of Butler; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her aunt.

Cygan — The friends of Lisa M. Cygan, who passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Church, Lyndora.
