Kenneth Christy

Kenneth Leroy Christy, 46, of Lyndora passed away at 9:29 p.m. Friday at Allegheny General Hospital.

He was born on Aug. 25, 1967, in Butler, to Raymond L. Christy and the late Patricia A. (Philips) Christy.

Ken was a 1985 graduate of Butler High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He worked for Veteran's Taxi and loved his job and his customers.

Ken was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and lived and breathed sports. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Niagara Falls. Ken absolutely loved his nieces and nephews and everyone loved him.

Ken is survived by his wife, Deborah J. Christy, whom he married on June 28, 2005, in Niagara Falls; his father, Raymond L. Christy of Butler; his three brothers, Charles Christy and his wife, Lynda, of Hilliards, David S. Christy and his wife, Lori, of Stoneboro and Jeffrey Christy and his wife, Martha, of Hilliards; a number of nieces and nephews; his great-nephew; and his great-niece.
