Albert Polanec
Albert Polanec, 87, of Butler passed away Sunday.
He served in the U.S. Navy and attended Westminster College and Slippery Rock University for his master's degree.
He worked at Pullman -Standard as an industrial engineer and served as commander of the Lyndora American Legion Post.
A loving father and devoted husband, he never remarried after the death of his wife, Koulakikos Lyras of Butler in 1985. May they be reunited.
He leaves behind a son, Albert Polanec Jr.; and a large and loving family of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
