Hilda Irene Lees

Hilda Irene Lees, 88, of Butler passed away on March 27 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 26, 1928, in Perrysville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Robert Holton and Dorothy Phillips Holton.

Surviving are her loving husband of 70 years, Harry Lees; her son, Tom Lees of Butler; her daughter, Patricia Lees Hartman of Lyndora; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Lucille Hassanger of Carlsville, Va.; her son-in-law, Francis Myers of Butler; her cousin, Arleen Klocke of Monroeville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Myers; and her brother, John Holton.

LEES — A memorial service for Hilda Irene Lees, who died Monday, March 27, 2017, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Thorncreek United Methodist Church, 142 Rockdale Road, Butler, with the Rev. Mary Jo Gould officiating. A luncheon will follow in the fellowship hall.A private graveside service was conducted in Brownsdale Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, c/o Harry Lees, 244 Powell Road, Butler, PA 16002.The Fox Funeral Home in Saxonburg assisted with the arrangements.
