Blase F. “Butch” Leinenbach
Blase F. “Butch” Leinenbach, 63, of Butler passed away Monday at Chicora Medical Center.
Born March 31, 1954, in Butler, he was a son of John B. Leinenbach and the late Gail J. (Fry) Leinenbach, who passed away Jan. 5, 2004.
Blase worked as a technical support representative for Guardian Security. He retired in 2017 following 39 years of service.
Butch was the former owner of Rivers Edge Campground. He enjoyed camping, boating and his grandchildren.
Surviving are his son, Chris (Kristy) Leinenbach of Butler; two grandchildren, Lenny and Lloyd; four brothers, John (Terri) Leinenbach of Chicora, Keith (Sue) Leinenbach of Cabot, Bruce (Renea) Leinenbach of Fredonia, N.Y., and Brian (companion Crystal) Leinenbach of Lyndora; two sisters, Anita (Joe) Stevenson of Slippery Rock and Gay (Rich) Hawkey of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews, special friends and coworkers he considered family.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two sisters.
LEINENBACH — Friends of Blase F. “Butch” Leinenbach, who died Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. A Blessing service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew McClain officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, 218 E.
