Pennell, Sheppeck honored by PACGROVE CITY — Seneca Valley graduate Lauren Pennell and Knoch graduate Amanda Sheppeck are among six Grove City College softball players earning second team All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference honors.Pennell was 8-8 with a 2.57 earned run average in 17 starts and ended her career as GCC’s all-time innings pitched leader with 542.1. She also hit .317 and led the Wolverines with three home runs.Third baseman Sheppeck led the team with a .370 batting average. She also led the squad with 26 runs, 37 hits, 13 doubles and 18 RBI.Other Wolverines homnored were pitcher Lauren Clarke, outfielder Grace Murtoff, designated player Casey Schmidt and shortstop Christine Slater.
