Carl Ashbaugh

Carl “Sye” George Ashbaugh, 82, of Saxonburg passed away Sunday at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center in Natrona Heights.

He was born May 16, 1930, in Johnstown.

Carl had worked at Elliott Tire.

Surviving are a daughter, Nancy E. Ashbaugh of Butler; four sons, Carl Ashbaugh Jr. of South Daytona, Fla., George A. Ashbaugh of Butler, Steve Ashbaugh of Butler and John Ashbaugh of Clarion; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Robert L. and Frank D. Ashbaugh, who died six weeks apart in 2000.
