Denton C. “Doc” Ashbaugh, 86, a well-known St. Petersburg resident, passed away at his home at 4:30 a.m. Thursday.

Ashbaugh — The friends of Denton C. “Doc” Ashbaugh, who passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the St. Petersburg United Methodist Church, Church Street, St. Petersburg.A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Dan Myers, church pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Petersburg Cemetery.Memorial contributions in Mr. Ashbaugh's name may be made to the St. Petersburg UMC, P.O.
