Freeport girls move to 5-0
Camryn Woods and Samantha Liput both scored a hat trick as Freeport’s girls soccer team remained unbeaten with an 8-2 victory over Apollo-Ridge on Monday.
Addy Kristofik and Nia DiSanti scored a goal apiece for the Yellowjackets (5-0).
Knoch 6, Slippery Rock 0 — Kam Burtner found the net twice while Macrina Robb scored once and added three assists.
Brooke Galcik, Bella Oskin and Gretta Hull each added one goal. Lauren Bowser and Emma Slusser both contributed an assist.
Mars 1, North Catholic 0 — Rosie Pellegrino scored the game’s only goal while Kate McEnroe preserved the shutout.
Boys Golf
Aaron Voltz carded a 39 to lead Knoch (10-4, 10-2) to a victory over Leechburg at Lenape Golf Club. The Knights tallied 244 while Leechburg did not field a full team.
Rocco DeLeonardis had a 46, Keir Morris 49, Ben Ferraro 52 and Greyson Rhodes 58 for Knoch.
