BUTLER TWP — Aryana Girvin had 11 kills, 10 digs and two aces on Saturday to help the Butler County Community College women’s volleyball team defeat Penn State Fayette, 3-0.

Match scores were 25-20, 25-14, 25-20.

Johnna Hill had five kills, eight digs and two aces, Nina Szymanski 11 digs. The Pioneers play at Potomac State at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Golf

The Pioneers defeated Westmoreland CCC and CCAC by scores of 322-330-351. Mars graduate Jonah Kozora was medalist for BC3 with a 75.

Butler graduate Xander Downing shot a 79 for the Pioneers. Knoch grad Cory Voltz shot an 82, Butler grad Xavier Farmer an 86 and Seneca Valley graduate Devin Latsko an 87.
