Margaret Jane Cupps
Margaret Jane Cupps, 82, of Butler died Sunday at her home.
Born March 17, 1930, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late John and Ann (Danko) Lawrence.
She worked as a teller for Dollar Bank in Butler for 17 years until her retirement in May 1987.
Margaret was a member of the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora and the St. John's Women's Guild. She enjoyed ceramics, traveling and bowling.
Surviving are her five daughters, Susan (John) Bimle of Pittsburgh, Dolores (Rich) Marchinoski of Butler, Denise Cupps of Yellow Springs, Ohio, Johanna (Steve) Cupps Boyd of Butler and Christine Cupps of Butler; one grandson, Joshua Marchinoski of Butler; and two brothers, John Lawrence of Butler and George Lawrence of Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Vincent Cupps, who she married Sept. 24, 1995, and who died April 19, 2011; one brother, Michael Lawrence; and one sister, Anne Shramawick.
<B>CUPPS</B> — Friends of Margaret Jane Cupps, who died Sunday, April 15, 2012, will be received at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 105 Kohler Ave., Lyndora. The Rev. Robert Oravetz, her pastor, will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.Parastas services will be at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
