Clifford J. Schryvers
Clifford J. Schryvers, 70, of Lyndora died Thursday morning at VA Butler Healthcare.
Born on March 15, 1943, in Prosser, Washington, he was a son of the late Clifford J. and Grace (Leusink) Schryvers.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and retired as senior chief from the Navy following 22 years.
After that he worked for Boehing Aircraft for 10 years and then worked in maintenance for the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora.
He was a member of the Butler HAM Radio Club, had enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football, traveling in his RV along with his wife, Mary Ann, and loved the company of his late little dog, Dolly.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann (Russin) Schryvers, who he married on June 13, 1987; his two sons, John (Holly) Schryvers of Washington and Chad Schryvers of Alabama; his two grandchildren, Clifford J. Schryvers and Christa May Schryvers; his sister, Dorothy McKinley of Washington; and his brother, Bob (Myrna) Schryvers of Washington.
Schryvers — The friends of Clifford J. Schryvers, who died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. The funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Butler County Memorial Park. The Rev. Dennis Hindman, will officiate.
