Rose Marie 'Rose' Olsavicky
Rose Marie “Rose” Olsavicky, 82, of Butler passed away at 2 a.m. Saturday at her home.
She was born Jan. 8, 1932, in Homestead to the late Andrew Sega and Mary (Held) Sega.
Mrs. Olsavicky was a graduate of Munhall High School.
She worked as the food manager at Gimbels Department Store, then as the food service manager at the Brentwood High School, retiring in 1986.
Mrs. Olsavicky was the president of the Pennsylvania State Food Service Association, and she enjoyed reading, music and watching classic movies and English mysteries.
Mrs. Olsavicky is survived by her husband, Robert G. Olsavicky, who she married April 30, 1949; four sons, Robert Olsavicky, Donald Olsavicky, Floyd Olsavicky and Gary Olsavicky; three grandchildren, Anya, Andrew and Zachery Olsavicky; one brother, Robert Sega; and one sister, Eleanore Olsavicky.
