GIBSONIA Pamela Dixon, director of programs and services with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Allegheny Chapter, will present "An Overview of Multiple Sclerosis" at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hilltop Hall at The Village at St. Barnabas, 5850 Meridian Road.

The program will review what multiple sclerosis is, what the Multiple Sclerosis Society is and how the MS Society can enable those living with MS to lead better lives through programs and financial support.

SLIPPERY ROCK Slippery Rock University's Robert A. Macoskey Center for Sustainable Systems Education and research has organic gardening plots available for community and student use. Individuals or groups may use the plots.Participants must sign an agreement with the center stipulating that they will refrain from using harmful chemicals on the site, maintain a neat garden, compost vegetative matter, use responsible water management practices and return borrowed tools. The center will provide compost, a small sign for each plot, water in barrels for irrigation, hand tools and will rototill the plots upon request.To reserve a plot, call Sara Runkel at 724-738-4050.
