CHICORA — A children's community Christmas party will start at 6 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Chicora Fire Hall, 202 W. Slippery Rock St., for children younger than 12.

The party includes a movie, visit from Santa and a treat.

The party is hosted by the Chicora Borough, Donegal Township and the Chicora Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

A Zumbathon to benefit Toys for Tots will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 4 at Center Township Elementary School.For each half-hour of Zumba, participants are asked to bring a toy valued at $5 or a $5 cash donation.A health fair will follow at Butler Health and Fitness, 215 N. Duffy Road.

HARMONY — The Harmony Museum's Yobp-Eckstein village and train-trolley display is open in the museum's Wagner House annex during regular guided museum tours, which are 1 to 4 p.m. daily except Mondays and holidays.The layout has handmade log houses, a Pennsylvania forebay barn, church and grist mill created in the 1930s. A mid-19th century train circles the town while an old-fashioned streetcar has its own loop, both antiques from the 1950s.
