BUTLER TWP — Residents in the Butler School District have until Monday to voice their opinions via an online survey about the district's next superintendent.

With Superintendent Michael Strutt retiring at the end of the school year, the school board wants to hire a replacement in March.

The survey asks what people would like to see in the next superintendent before officials start the interview process. The survey includes a list of characteristics and a place for other comments.

More than 600 surveys have been submitted so far to be reviewed by the board's administrative search committee.

To complete the survey, go to www.basdk12.org/superintendent.

Residents also can talk to board members about choosing a superintendent at their 7:30 p.m. board meeting Monday at the Harriger Educational Services Center.
