Grace Minehart

Grace I. Dindinger Minehart, 102, formerly of Callery, died Tuesday in Evergreen Nursing Center, Harmony.

Born on April 5, 1911, in Middle Lancaster, she was the daughter of David C. and Clara E. Uhl Dindinger.

Grace was a member of Crestview Community Church, Callery, where she had been very active in the preparation of church dinners. She was known for her delicious pies.

She loved playing cards and watching Pirates games. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, who enjoyed every minute spent with them.

She is survived by two daughters, Beverly (John) Hutchison of Cranberry Township and Marian (Gary) Magill of Evans City; two sons, Russell (Barbara) Minehart of Jackson, N.C., and Kenneth (Geri) Minehart of Evans City; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. Minehart, who died June 8, 1983; one daughter; three sons; four sisters; three brothers; two grandsons, and one great-grandson.

MINEHART — The family of Grace I. Minehart, who died Tuesday, June 25, 2013, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, Evans City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Goossen and the Rev. Rosalyn Kummer officiating.If desired, memorial donations may be made to Crestview Community Church, P.O.
