Ruth Ann Duncan, 72, of Manor Township passed away Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

She was born March 6, 1943, in Butler, the daughter of the late George Washington and Blanche (Gaiser) Duncan.

Ruth Ann was an active member of both the ARC and Community Living of Butler County. She enjoyed spending time with her family, with Jimmy and Mary Ann McKee, her caregivers of over 21 years, and with Darlene Miller and Lucky. She also enjoyed shopping, and watching westerns and Judge Judy.

Despite having special needs, she was cheerful, resilient and unique in her own special way.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Leona) Perry, Mrs. Alice (Ron) Shuba and Blanche “Pink” Ruby; four brothers, David (Mabel) Duncan, John Duncan (Lisa Ceasar), James Duncan and Gary (Valerie) Duncan; her sister-in-law, Sandy Duncan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister and one brother, Raymond Duncan.

DUNCAN — Friends of Ruth Ann Duncan, who died Saturday, April 11, 2015, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Gary Smith officiating.
