Patricia Ann Spencer, 83, of Butler, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Patricia Ann Spencer, 83, of Butler passed away Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born Dec. 12, 1931, in Butler, the daughter of the late Everett A. and Elizabeth (Allen) Baker.

Pat was a member of the Unionville Evangelical Presbyterian Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and member of Session. She was also a member of the Buttercup Garden Club of Meridian and Snack N Pack Golf League.

She retired from the VA Post Office as a clerk and from Sears. She also worked at Meridian Post Office for 5 years and belonged to Learning in Retirement at SRU.

Patricia enjoyed gardening, reading, quilting and golfing.

Surviving are two daughters, Lisa (Tim Morris) Spencer-Morris of Boca Raton, Fla., and Heather (Jim) Jensen of Huntley, Ill.; two sons, Philip Spencer of Naples, Fla., and Roger (Kim Leasure) Spencer of Schwenksville, Pa.; her grandchildren, Andrew, Spencer and Preston Morris, Matt, Tanner and Noah Jensen, Christian, Jack and Jesse Spencer and Carter and Chandler Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Spencer; her sister, June Young; her brother, Everett “Pete” Baker; and her half-sister, Beulah Kessler.

SPENCER — Friends of Patricia Ann Spencer, who died Saturday, June 20, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Unionville Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1114 Sunset Drive, Butler, with the Rev. Matthew Kail, her pastor, officiating. Interment in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
