Edna M. “Dee” Peaco, 80, of Richland Township died Wednesday evening at Sugar Creek Station in Franklin.

Born in Arnold, Pa., on May 10, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Courtney and Edna (DeMartini) Reader.

Edna had worked as a housekeeper for UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township for 21 years.

She was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed casinos and slots.

Surviving are a son, Charles (Wei) Reader of Columbus, Ohio; a grandson, Charles Reader Jr.; three step-grandchildren, Ronica, Bonnie and Michael; a brother, David Reader of Gibsonia; and two sisters, Ramona Schmidt of Butler and Diane Riegler of Gibsonia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Peaco, whom she married Dec. 31, 1965, and who died Oct. 5, 1990; a brother, Harold Reader; and a granddaughter.
