Bert Dantow
Bert Dantow, 74, of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and seasonally of Butler, passed away at his Florida home on May 28 in the arms of his loving wife and daughter.
Bert was born July 17, 1937, to Dr. Bernard Dantow and Caroline (Lystarczyk) Dantow. Bert was originally from Pittsburgh. He moved to South Florida in 1981, and he also was a seasonal resident of Butler.
Bert loved life, and he truly lived it to the fullest. A kind, caring and generous man, he took great joy in making others happy.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a manager in the car business. He enjoyed golfing, singing, Steelers games and spending time with family.
He was the beloved husband of 48 years to Donna (Ball) Dantow; cherished father to Marla (David) Emanuele; and adored grandfather to Lauren, Madison and Chloe Emanuele.
His parents and a sister preceded him in death.
