Ruth A. Weiland, 82, of Connoquenessing passed away Tuesday while under the care of the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born March 15, 1931, in Beaver County, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Clara (Gerwig) Steffler.

She is survived by her husband, Richard J. Weiland; her six daughters, Mary (Bruce) Finke of Prospect, Lisa (Jim) Romans of Butler, Katy (Curt) Kugel of Renfrew, Rachel Weiland of Ashville, Ohio, Gretchen (Keith) Haburjak of Evans City and Melissa (Jim) Weisenstein of Butler; her 13 grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; her sister, Laureen DeCampli of Ellwood City; and her two brothers, Lee (Lorraine) Steffler of Fombell and Bob (Winnie) Klear of Woodstock, Va.

WEILAND — As per her wishes, there will be no public visitation or services for Ruth A. Weiland, who passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor in support of the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.
