Bike repair station installed along Armstrong Trail in East Brady
Those who experience minor problems with their bicycles or tires along the Armstrong Trail near East Brady can now fix up their ride and continue pedaling.
A bicycle repair stand and heavy-duty air pump have been installed at the parking lot for the East Brady trailhead, 300 Verner St., East Brady, or mile 67.6 on the Armstrong Trail.
The facility supplies an air pump for tire inflation and the tools necessary to make basic repairs.
QR codes on both the air pump and repair stand provide directions for use.
The East Brady trailhead is a popular starting or ending point for cyclists using the Armstrong and Redbank trails, but no bicycle shops are available on either trail for several miles.
The repair stand and pump were made possible by a grant from Duquesne Light. The project was facilitated by the East Brady Area Development Corporation.
