Independence Health System is adding outpatient rehabilitation services to the offerings available in Slippery Rock at 100 Innovation Drive, Suite 100.

The new physical therapy location is part of the health system’s onsite outpatient services, which include lab, X-Ray, MRI testing, among others, according to a Wednesday, Aug. 23 news release from Independence Health System.

The physical therapy program at Independence Health System offers patients individually tailored rehabilitation techniques led by a team of therapists who are focused on creating a path to recovery from injury, illness and surgery.

Patients will work one-on-one with a therapist throughout their rehabilitation, receiving on-site assistance, guidance, and instructions for additional at-home exercises. In addition, therapists work closely in collaboration with providers to optimize patient care, the news release said.

The Slippery Rock location is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. To make an appointment at this location, call 724-794-7933.
