Joseph A. Lively

Joseph A. Lively

Joseph A. “Joe” Lively, 49, of Slippery Rock passed away Friday.

Born Feb. 20, 1966, in Sewickley, he was the son of the late Tom and Donna (Snell) Lively.

Joe truly loved his job as a truck driver and was loyal to all of his customers. He was greatly respected by his peers.

During his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending a lot of time outdoors. He had a love for all animals, especially his dogs and cats.

Joe's great sense of humor will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. He could be grumpy at times, then the next moment he'd be telling jokes and making you laugh.

Joe will be remembered as the adoring husband for 24 years to Laura H. (Scribner) Lively; loving dad to his son, Michael A. Lively of Slippery Rock and his two stepchildren, Jesse Skander of Greenfield and Lindsay Skander of Slippery Rock; dear brother to Vickie Lively of Rochester; and proud pappy of grandson, Deklan.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his two brothers, Larry and Tommy Lively.
