New Sheetz opens in Cranberry

A new Sheetz will open in Cranberry Township on Thursday, Aug. 24, at 1664 Route 228.

Doors open to the public at 8 a.m., with free self-serve coffee and soda being offered during the day.

Formal grand-opening festivities will begin outside the store at 9 a.m. Multiple prizes will be awarded, including a grand prize giveaway of $2,500 in a Sheetz gift card.

The official ribbon-cutting is set for 10:45 a.m.

Sheetz will also donate $2,500 to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, which works to eliminate food insecurity.

A second donation of $2,500 will be presented to the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania. A proud supporter of the Special Olympics for more than 30 years, Sheetz also extends its support to the organization through product donations and event volunteers.

Based in Altoona, Sheetz operates more than 680 locations across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland, with all locations open 24/7, 365 days a year.
