The Saxonburg District Woman's Club recently awarded the following Knoch High School seniors $350 scholarships:

Corey Musico, Rebecca Lefever, Erin Robb, Lauren Wiefling and

Lindsay Wiefling.

The scholarships, which come from the club's memorial fund, will be presented at the high school's awards assembly on May 11.

Brittnee Rock

of Chicora has been selected as a state finalist in the Miss Cheerleader of America selection, set for Saturday and Sunday at the Holiday Inn in North Hills.

A senior at Moniteau High School, she will compete for scholarships and awards to use for higher education.

Rock is the daughter of Kimberly and Randall Rock.
