You left behind your gift of love

You were someone we could talk to that no one can replace,

You were someone we could laugh with till tears ran down our face.

You were someone we could turn to when we needed a helping hand,

You were someone we could count on to advise and understand.

And when days are sad and lonely

And everything goes wrong,

I seem to hear you whisper

Cheer up and carry on.

Each time I see your picture,

You seem to smile and say,

Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping,
