John K. Dunn
John K. Dunn, 55, of Transfer, Pymatuning Township, Pa., passed away Thursday following an extended illness at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, Pa.
He was born in Butler on Nov. 2, 1960, to Robert and Shirley (Klepper) Dunn.
John was a 1978 graduate of Moniteau High School and graduated from Butler Community College.
Before moving to the area, he owned and operated a ServiceMaster cleaning business and most recently worked as a bartender at the Reynolds VFW.
He was very involved in his son's wrestling career and was devoted to his training, competition and success.
He was a great handyman who could fix just about anything. He was very generous and always willing to lend a helping hand.
He was known for his great sense of humor and had a knack for knowing an abundance of trivia.
John is survived by his wife at home, Ruth Ann (Grossman) Dunn. They were married June 19, 1982.
Also surviving are his mother of Cranberry Township; a son, Matthew James Dunn and his wife, Corinne, of Greenville; a daughter, Nicholle Renee Dunn and her husband, Matthew, of Ithaca, N.Y.; two brothers, Robert Dunn Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Hooker and Richard Dunn and his wife, Christen, of New Castle; a sister, Robin Kreutz and her husband, William, of Slippery Rock; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Donald Dunn.

Dunn, who died Thursday, March 17, 2016, will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at Osborne-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 73-75 Columbia Ave., Greenville, where a funeral service will begin at 6 p.m., with the Rev. James R.
